The first upside down tomato plant I made was in 1982'ishI see now others have caught on this great idea, I also see people are trying to capitalize with gadgets to do this.. So I made this website free to show how to make upside down tomato plants at a low cost. Why pay 20.00 to 40.00 on someone gadget for upside down tomato plants when you can make it your self for under 8.00 (and that includes the plant and dirt)

(hardware stores sell them for about 2.00 ) STEP 4 Put a coffee filter over the dirt in the center, then put the top on. The coffee filter is to hold the dirt in the bucket when you do step 5 and 6 STEP 5 Flip bucket upside down, so its now on its lid. put the tomato plant inside the hole. Water it and if needed add more dirt. oh ya.. we use celebrity tomatos Put the plant now somewhere where it can get sun. STEP 7 Now that the plant is 12 inches tall flip it upside down and hang it some where. I hung it from a clothes line pole. (make sure its strong enough) (don't forget to water it) Add Miracle-Gro every 2 weeks. Here it is weeks later again and you can see 13 or more tomatoes on it in this photo (its only July)(don't forget to water it) Add Miracle-Gro every 2 weeks.
