Control and Automation The recognition and reproduction of gestures and actions is a key element of autonomous humanoid robotics and natural human-machine interactions. The aim is to design robots able to capture the essence of a given gesture, so as to reproduce variants of the gesture in a new context. In order to accomplish this task, the robot must extract a coarse but adequate representation of the gesture. |
